FAQs
What makes you different than other plant care services?
Zen Plant Care is a woman-owned business, and we have the most effective skills for your plants and their needs because of our genuine love for greenery and connections with new people. We also donate monthly to The Nature Conservancy to help support a healthy world!
What is Teleplant Care?
Our newest service addition! We’ve created virtual live sessions with a plant professional. This is ideal for someone outside of Southern California who is struggling with their plants and wants personalized assistance from a real plant expert. See more on our Teleplant Care page!
Do you guarantee plants?
We stand behind the quality of the work that we do. However, because plants are living organisms, we do not guarantee the health, longevity, or survival of any plant, including plants that are under our ongoing care. Plant health can be affected by factors that may occur between visits or may not be immediately observable, including pests, disease, environmental conditions, light, temperature, air quality, natural decline, previous damage, or other handlers.
How often do you visit for general maintenance?
The number of visits depends on the plant's specific needs. If you have a finicky alocasia that requires semi-moist soil, then this beautiful plant needs weekly care visits. If you have all pothos and philodendrons, they can get by with biweekly care.
Do you replace plants?
Yes! We can replace wilted or dying plants. We are service-based, so we collect products from local nurseries. This is one way we show our support for other small businesses. Replacement plants are not included in general maintenance and are billed separately.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. We are covered with General Liability for commercial and residential.
